Across Texas, advocates and educators work every day to support public education, backed by real research and plain common sense. Too often that work fails to move policymakers to enact real change.

Policymakers don't move because of a gap in understanding; they move when they feel safe making those changes happen.

The Friends Leadership Summit is a working session built around moving policymakers. Not a conference about what's wrong with public education. Not a lecture on what to advocate for. You'll leave with two things:

1. A way to frame your position as the least risky choice a policymaker can make.

2. Shared language that makes your advocacy clearer and easier for others to back.

Friday, November 13 from 9am to 1pm. KMFA in Austin. Two panels, structured small-group work, and a closing charge built on the Friends Trust Model.
